35 Kiwi's are about to buy a $1m forest, want to join them?

For the past 12 months, 35 people have been chipping in $20 per week towards buying a forest that we aim to Regenerate.

We have now saved $45,000 towards our $100,000 goal.

Hitting our goal will enable us to purchase our first $1,000,000 forest in the next 6 months.

We are opening up our forest whānau to 55 more people to help accelerate the purchase of the first Regenerate NZ Forest.

The first 35 dedicated Regenerators are currently contributing small amounts of money frequently $10-300 per week to our shared wallet.

These Regenerators want more ethical investment options that provide consistent long term returns that is in alignment with our Maui like plan to accelerate our vision to…

Regenerate New Zealand Pine Tree Blocks back to Native Forests within 100 years, by enabling everyday New Zealanders to profitably invest as little as $20 per week.

Are you currently investing every week and looking for options that are ethical, climate positive and making a difference locally?

“I currently invest $350/week across a variety of shares and funds. Would love another option that ticks boxes of ethical sustainability, re-wilding and a return on investment.” - Daniel

In the past 12 months we have seen a range of keen Regenerate NZ backers contributing as little as $10 per week, $50 per week and even up to $100 per week!

From what we have been hearing these backers have a consistent investment strategy and are looking to diversify their portfolios (albeit small) into things that matter to them and make a difference on this planet.

The struggle we see in market is that there are a lot of funds and options that fall into four main categories.

  • NZ based investments that are “Green” because they are clean energy companies or property companies with a range of “6 star rated LEED” buildings that are considered “Green”

  • NZ based investments that are “Green” and inaccessible to the everyday investor due to having minimum ticket sizes of $10,000-50,000+ such as MyFarm, Roger Dickie and New Forests.

  • “Ethical/Green” investments that are often majority global based investments such as Kiwisaver Funds and ETF style products

  • Global green bonds that are inaccessible to everyday investors

So is there a locally impactful, accessible option with an ROI?

Regenerate NZ aims to;

  1. Target 6-8% Internal Rate of Return on Regenerative Forest Number 1 (Local impact)

  2. Enable consistent weekly contributions for 100 Regenerators ($10-300pp/week) via the Regenerate NZ app (Currently $900 per week from 35 people)(Accessible asset class)

  3. Hit $100,000pa contribution goal ($45,000 already secured from 35 Regenerators)

  4. Purchase our first $1,000,000 forest in 6 months time (enough capital on hand and consistent weekly contributions from 100 Regenerators)

  5. Eventually complete our 100 year vision to…
